As
CEO Carol Realini is involved in all aspects of Obopay. Since 1990, she
has been working in the technology sector as a CEO. But Carol brings
more than her extensive technology and financial services software
experience to Obopay, she also brings endless enthusiasm, a passion for
new ideas and love of start-ups. |
|
Before
starting Obopay, Carol was founding CEO and chairman of Chordiant
Software (CHRD), a leader in one-to-one marketing and customer
interaction software. During her tenure as CEO and President, she
raised over $30 million in venture capital and played a key leadership
role in the start-up, development and successful IPO of the company.
Today, Chordiant is a leading technology provider of customer
interaction software to banking, card services, insurance, and lending
institutions. |

Prior
to Chordiant, Carol was the CEO/President of J. Frank Consulting for
six years, a business she sold to MCI. And before J. Frank, she was the
Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Legato Systems, Inc., a
network storage software leader. |
|
Carol's
desire to create and promote innovative technology has always remained
strong, both as an investor and active board member. She also works
with several international organizations committed to global innovation
and entrepreneurship. |

Deepak Chandnani is responsible for all of the
Asia and Africa operations of Obopay. With a mandate for building Obopay into a most admired and
best in class company , he brings with him more than 28 years of stellar top managerial experience
focused on Consumer, Banking & Technology sectors by virtue of having held multiple strategic
& leadership roles in several leading blue chip organizations like Citibank, Hindustan Lever,
Yahoo and the NCR Corporation. Deepak started his career with Cheseborough Ponds where he
subsequently rose to become a General Manager in that organization. |

After a brief entrepreneurial stint Deepak then joined
Citibank where he was instrumental in several leadership initiatives and played a stellar role in
the bank's mid market growth story. Deepak has also served as the first country manager for Yahoo
and also held the position of Managing Director at NCR Corporation, India. Prior to joining Obopay
Deepak ran India’s largest and only public listed cable company WWIL. |

Dilip is charged with optimizing the global engineering organization at all Obopay locations. Based in Bangalore, India, Dilip brings more than 20 years of deep engineering and technology experience where he has successfully built and led engineering organizations across multiple geographies, creating world-class software products and solutions. |

Prior to joining Obopay, Dilip led the Global Product Engineering efforts for Intuit’s Accountant Products Division. He is an established leader and has held senior leadership positions with Pivotal Corporation, i2 Technologies, Stonebridge Technologies, Fidelity Investments and AT&T.

Dilip received his MS from Arizona State and his BS from College of Engineering, J.N.T. University, Hyderabad, India.
