Getting Started
Downloading Obopay on to your mobile phone is free! And it is one of the easiest ways to get and send money directly from your mobile phone – anytime, anywhere. It is quick, secure, and easy to install. Simply SMS ‘Obopay’ to 56161. When you get a message on your phone, follow the instructions and you're done!
| To use the Obopay Application, a mobile phone that supports GPRS with an active GPRS subscription is required. |

Send Money
Use Send Money to pay anyone with a mobile phone. The money is instantly sent and they will get a text message on their mobile phone letting them know they have received payments from you. |

Get Money
Use Get Money to ask a Obopay user for money. The person receiving the payment request will get a message that they have a money request, and they may accept or decline the request. |

Balance
Use Balance to get amount available in your account. |

History
You can see your last 20 Obopay Transactions. Five transactions are displayed per page, scroll the screens to view all 20. |

Invite
You can invite a friend to use Obopay by selecting Invite and entering the mobile number of the person you want to invite. They will receive an SMS giving them further details on how to sign-up |
Entering Info
Phone Numbers
When selecting Get Money or Send Money, enter the phone number. No dashes, spaces, or special characters.
Address Book
On many phones you can access a phone number from your address book by selecting contacts on the Send or Get screens.
Your MPIN
Your MPIN was provided when you signed up. If you've forgotten it, call your bank's customer care center.
Adding message
Adding a message to send to a recipient is optional. Select OK to skip adding a message.
Shortcuts
Back: returns to previous screen.
Clear: erases the last character typed.
Contacts: accesses your address book.
Exit: closes the application.
